First of all it is stupidity of authority to make new trainees stand throughout the whole speech. Why can’t they sit down and relax when there is no need to stand in attention position for a long time in severely hot weather.

In India, employees are treated in inhuman way in various profession. Both government and private employers act like cruel slaughters towards employees. Like they have purchased someone by just a month’s wages.

This incident is a measure of the fitness level of those policemen who are trained at police training school before completion. It also says a lot about quality of the food they are provided during training. Shame on Gujarat Police……

The relationship between government and people was like master and slave respectively during British Raj. Congress has maintained the similar relationship (master/slave)even today. For example, a 12th fail police sub inspector can behave very rudely with any ordinary citizen. Namo need to fix this at least in Gujarat.

It is natural. If you stand at one place with rifle in hand looking straight after few minutes your head would start spinning. This always happens in parades. Nothing new. Just try in stand at one place for 3 hours without moving, you will find out. To be honest it not embarrassing for any one.

I agree with views mentioned above. It is not embarrassing for people who fainted but for organizers, because fittest person can dehydrate easily if haven’t taken enough liquids and standing for long in severe sun and hit of India. They should have some mandap etc. when these jawans can sit during speech etc.

Now wait and watch ….. STUPID CONGRESS party will make any thing out of this incident and try to defame Mr. MODIJI at any cost…. I know thinking of CONGRESS party….JUST wait….THIS MODHVADIA has already spoken so now is vaghela or someone elseS turn to defame Mr. MODIJI…..

ANYONE who has some scientific back ground, they would understand like DOCTOR said that you would feel DIZZY when you stand for a long time….JAY HIND…..

PLEASE adopt scientific approach – dont say: baylyo chhe, popo chhe, gaabru chhe, chhakko chhe etc.

BASIC RULE – 1 liter water per hour in hot weather with lot of activity. EVEN if you are not thirsty.

“A working adult can produce 2 quarts of sweat per hour for short periods and up to 15 quarts per day. Because the body’s water absorption rate of 1.5 quarts per hour is less than the body’s 2 quarts per hour sweat rate, dehydration results. This happens because you cannot drink enough water to keep up with your sweat losses. If you drink only when you are thirsty, you are dehydrated already. Thirst is not a good guide for when to drink water. In fact, in hot and humid conditions, you may be so dehydrated by the time you become thirsty that you will have trouble catching up with your fluid losses.”

In the Gulf War, American armed forces followed the practice of the Israeli army: drinking a minimum of 1 quart of fluid per hour. This tactic resulted in zero deaths from heat illness. In contrast, during the Six Day War of 1967, more than 20,000 Egyptian soldiers died3/4with no visible wounds3/4most likely from dehydration and heat illness because they were restricted to 3 quarts daily.

“The importance of hydration was shown by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) who developed a highly successful heat doctrine for desert operations, demonstrated during the 1967 war with Egypt. The Israeli forces experienced minimal losses from heat injury and illness, while the Egyptians suffered 20,000 casualties from heatstroke alone, representing approximately 50% of the total Egyptian war casualties.”
