Five crude bombs recovered ahead of Rath Yatra in Amdavad

Ahmedabad police today recovered five crude bombs from a tool box of chicken carrying tempo near Kalidas cross roads in Gomtipur area.
According to Sector two police official SG Bhati, city police control room was informed about presence of crude bombs in particular truck through a phone call dialed from a mobile number.
Acting on this information, police team recovered five newly made crude bombs and defused them.
Crude bombs are made from pipes, tobacco tins, gun powder and other minor objects.
