Fresh inflow of water at Narmada dam, level goes up

Water level at Narmada dam touched the height of 113.25 meter on Thursday thanks to fresh income of 24452 cusec water due to heavy shower in upstream areas. Early this week the income of water was 9960 cusec, but Wednesday proved to be a turning point, as income of water was three times more at 24452 cusec on that day.
SSNNL has given priority to raise the water level in dam, and therefore the authority has yet not switched on its river bed power house. Due to delayed monsoon, last month the level of water was 112.97 meter which was 8.95 meter down compare to highest level of 121.92 meter.
