Narendra Modi instructs Gujarat’s health department to procure cadaver liver for Vilasrao Deshmukh

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today instructed Gujarat’s health department to procure cadaver liver on top priority for union minister and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Desmukh, who is undergoing treatment.
At around 2.00 pm Shri Modi tweeted: Instructed Gujarat’s health department to procure cadaver liver on top priority to Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh, who is undergoing treatment.
The condition of Union Science and Technology Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, who is undergoing treatment for serious liver ailment at Global hospitals in Chennai continued to be stable on Sunday.
Deshmukh was admitted to Global hospitals on Monday last.
The 67-year-old former Maharashtra Chief Minister was brought here from Mumbai in an air ambulance in a critical condition. He continues to be in the ICU.
