No tickets to those who lost polls twice in Gujarat

A PTI report from Delhi, quoting sources today said that Congress party’s screening committee meeting held in New Delhi on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister C P Joshi decided not to give tickets to candidates who lost Assembly Elections twice earlier in Gujarat or those who lost the last Assembly Elections by margins of more than 15,000 votes. The other decision taken by the committee is that a person who fought elections at panchyat or municipality level in constituencies will be given preference for tickets. The party has also decided to give maximum tickets to youth, women, professionals and those with higher education, the report said.

Gujarat Congress can try anything they want to try…. They are not going to win state assembly to rule…. THEY can find all kind of candidates and teach them to ROB-FOOL but they will not win….. It is compulsion for Congress party to field new candidates now, because all of their old faces are neck deep in corruption.
People hate their faces so much, that people will just throw them out in election.
Congress wants to hide their shortcomings with fielding professionals and fresh faces.
Anyway, in politics its always good if political parties field good character candidates only, and specially educated ones, whether it is BJP or it is congress.
But experienced candidates may beat fresh ones, like what happened to BJP in Mansa by poll.
