Three Gujaratis – Narendra Modi, Gautam Adani and Cheteshwar Pujara were trending yesterday on social media discussions, and today another Gujarati Ravindra Jadeja is trending. In India-Australia second test in Hyderabad, Jadeja emerged as a star. He sparked a collapse from 3-108 to 6-111 when he bowled Australia skipper Michael Clarke (16) with a peach of a ball which beat the outside edge before hitting off stump. Tree runs later Ed Cowan played a loose shot away from his body and edged Jadeja to Virender Sehwag at slip for 44.Then, incredibly considering the match situation, Moises Henriques was run out for a duck by a Jadeja direct hit, despite an initial misfield. And it got worse when Glenn Maxwell (8) was leg before to Ravi Ashwin. Then Jadeja struck again, having Peter Siddle (4) caught at short backward point, while a ball later Ashwin accounted for Matthew Wade (10) to leave the Aussies on 9-130, still 136 behind. Thus Jadeja took 3 wickets in 33 runs. With Jadeja’s star performance, India today went 2-0 up in the four-Test series after victory by an innings an 135 runs over feeble Australia in the second Test in Hyderabad.
