Ashraf Nagori wanted to spark off communal riots across Gujarat

Ashraf Nagori who was accused in Haren Pandya murder case but was acquitted later has reportedly confessed that he was planning to kill VHP leader Dr. Pravin Togadia to spark off communal riot across Gujarat.
Nagori has confessed this during police remand after he was arrested with 11 pistols in Surat. Nagori had purchased pistols and cartridges from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district through one Govind Chikligar who manufactures illegal arms.
Nagori is in police custody at present. Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has also questioned him.
Nagori was out of jail for last two years after completing imprisonment in Lalwala firing case. He has visited Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Banglore etc cities. Police is investigating his activities in last two years.
