April 27, 2013
Gandhinagar, 27 April 2013
Reacting to the attack on Sarabjit Singh in Pakistan jail, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said that the assault on the Indian national is yet another example of UPA government’s failure.
Talking to reporters, Modi said that the government is busy saving itself and has no time to secure the nation.
Sarabjit, 49, is in an Intensive Care Unit of the state-run Jinnah Hospital in Lahore, where he was admitted yesterday after being brutally beaten by at least six other prisoners within his barrack at the Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Sarabjit Singh is in “deep coma” and put on ventilator support after being assaulted by a group of prisoners in a Pakistani jail, with doctors today saying that they will not be able to perform surgery on him till his condition stabilises.
