Leader of opposition in Rajasthan assembly, and former Home Minister of Rajasthan Shri Gulabchand Kataria has got anticipatory bail in gangster Sohrabuddin encounter case. Shri Kataria was granted bail by Mumbai CBI court today.

Shri Kataria’s name was mentioned as an accused in supplementary charge sheet filed by CBI early this month.

Central BJP leadership had in one voice opposed the move and questioned CBI’s tactics allegedly under the direction of union government. Rajasthan BJP had declared one-day strict in the state to protest any attempt to frame Mr. Kataria. The strike call had received good response across the state.
