Modi meets Rajnath, Advani, envoys of Latin American countries in Delhi(Photos)


New Delhi, 5 June 2013

As always Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi made maximum use of his Delhi visit.

Shri Modi first participated in internal security meeting called by the Prime Minister. He spoke with media persons and went to meet national BJP president Shri Rajnath Singh at his residence.

Happy with BJP’s victory in Gujarat by-polls, Shri Rajnath Singh welcomed Shri Modi with sweets.

After a closed door meeting with Shri Rajnath Singh, Shri Modi visited Shri LK Advani and spent some time at Advani’s bungalow.

Shri Modi met ambassadors of 20 Latin American nations at Gujarat Bhawan in Delhi. He tweeted that he will discuss avenues of greater cooperation in various fields. Group of Latin American and Caribbean Countries(GRULAC) has envoys of 20 countries to India as members. The group meeting Modi today was led by Mexico envoy Mr. Jaime Nva Lart. Modi’s interaction with GRULAC went on for two hours. Envoys of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Panama, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador , Peru, Al-Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba and Emirate were present in the meeting. There was a question answer session, and group photo moment too.

It should be noted here that before Modi’s meeting with Shri Advani, there was a meeting between American ambassador to India Nancy Powell and Shri Advani.
