Rajnath Singh in Ahmedabad

While Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was in Delhi, the national President of BJP Shri Rajnath Singh was in Ahmedabad today.
Rajnath was not scheduled to visit Ahmedabad, but he happened to be in Ahmedabad due to weather!
Rajnath was traveling to Mumbai by air to attend Indian Express’s Adda event. Due to poor weather his flight was diverted to Ahmedabad airport in the afternoon.
From the airport, Shri Rajnath Singh tweeted:
Due to inclement weather my flight has been diverted to Ahmedabad. Waiting for the weather to improve in Mumbai.

Sources said that Ahmedabad City President of BJP Shri Rakesh Shah, state BJP spokesperson Shri IK Jadeja and other BJP leaders rushed to airport and paid courtesy visit to their national president. After an hour or so, when weather condition normalized, the flight departed for Mumbai.
