26th January’s main function in Gujarat was celebrated in South Gujarat’s newly formed district Tapi’s headquarter Vyara. Chief minister shri Narendra Modi and Governor Naval Kirhor Sharma stayed in Vyara for two days. They met common people there and discussed with them about how this deprived tribal area of Gujarat can be further developed. It is interesting to note that this area is highly affected by Christian Missionary activities. Nearly 40000 tribals are now converted to Christianity here. In such situation Narendra Modi now wants to provide parallel infrastructure to this area that Christian missionaries are giving and therefore they are growing.
