-Against doctors advise, Kanodia was willing to fly to Delhi for trust vote in parliament
-After open heart surgery, he had complications in lung too

BJP Member of parliament from Gujarat’s Patan constituency, Mahesh Kanodia(72) who underwent an open heart surgery last week, was today ready to fly to Delhi from Mumbai for casting his vote to topple the Manmohan Singh government. BJP had arranged a special chartered plane ready to bring Kanodia to Delhi.

Talking to DeshGujarat, Hitu Kanodia a Gujarati film star from Kanodia family said “Mahesh uncle suffered heart attack last week. He was hospitalized in Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute where Dr. Panda performed angioblast and open heart surgery on him. He was advised complete rest for at least 15 days recovery period. Unfortunately on Monday he suffered another complication of lung puncture and exceeded water in lung. He was immediately treated but doctors strictly advised him for complete rest then after. However in such critical condition, Maheshbhai was willing to attend BJP call for participation in vote of trust. Once vote is Loksabha is casted, we would rush to Apollo hospital in Delhi where his treatment will continue.”

Mahesh Kanodia’s brother Naresh Kanodia and his son Hitu Kanodia accompanied him along with three doctors in the flight. Naresh Kanodia, brother of Mahesh Kanodia is considered as a super star of Gujarati film industry. Mahesh Kanodia himself is famous music director and singer in Gujarati film industry. He can sing in both male and female voice. Though he is MP from Patan in north Gujarat, his official resident is in Lokhandwala ,Mumbai. Mahesh Kanodia’s wife passed away before three months. His daughter Pooja Kanodia is singer and based in Surat. Whole Kanodia family was on Mumbai airport where there was a large media presence to cover airlifting of MP.
