Addressing huge Hindu rally in Rajkot on the occassion of Janmashtami parade, Vishva Hindu Parishad’s international general secretory Praveen Togadia demanded nation wide total ban on madrassas in the wake of recent bomb blasts in Ahmedabad. He said that all the accused of Karnavati(Ahmedabad), Jaipur and Mumbai bomb blasts were connected with madrassas.

Togadia said “Today if we give away our Kashmir, tomorrow they will demand Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat one by one. Our sisters and daughters will no more remain safe in our nation.”

Togadia compared Omar Abdullah, Mufti Mohammad Saeed and Osama Bin Laden with Kauravas and said “Kashmir does not belong to Mufti Mohammad Saeed, Mehbooba Mufti or Ghulam Nabi Azad. Those in Kashmir valley who say ‘we are Pakistani’ should be shot dead.

“Central government is not ready to hang Afzal. In such situations people will have to rush to the roads and will have to decide about these Jihadis on their own. What jehadis did in Godhra was answered well by Gujarat. If these Pro-Pakistanis would not understand the things peacefully, Gujarat could be repeated in India’s every corner.” He said.

Cutting short his Rajkot-Dhoraji visit Togadia rushed to Ahmedabad in the wake of situation that had arise in Orissa where VHP leader Swamy Laxmananada Saraswati and his four followers in Kandhamal district were killed. Swami Lakshmananada Saraswati was immensely popular for his anti Christian missionary oriented Hindu conversions stand.
