Bollywood actress Prachi Desai, whose recent film Rock-On was hit at box office paid visit to her native city Surat yesterday night to witness unique performance of Dandiya on Skates by the children from local dance class.

On the sideline of the event, talking to the reporters Prachi said “I am from Surat but as my schooling happened in Panchgani, I hardly was in touch with Surat’s Dandiya. I am happy that after years I am at Surat’s Dandiya. I don’t know how to play Dandiya, but I wish to learn.”

Appreciating unique presentation of Dandiya on skates by children she said “It is amazing to watch children playing Dandiya on skates.”

When asked about her marriage plans she smiled and replied that it would take at least 10 years from now. Prachi didn’t participate in the Dandiya. She took Dandiya stick in her hand just for a moment in token gesture.
