Though receiving considerably good load, Air-India has stopped flying direct from London to Ahmedabad according to sources. Air-India is the only direct service which operates on London-Ahmedabad-London route with 245 seating capacity AI133 flight. Earlier Air-India had withdrawn its 385 seating capacity flight AI191 to Paris from Ahmedabad(Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Paris-Newark).

Air-India had already turned direct service to London into an indirect some time back as London-Ahmedabad-London passengers were flown from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in an Indian airlines flight, and from Mumbai they were connected to Air-India flight for London.
