Vadnagar’s Tana Riri music festival 2008 on November 6th,7th

Tana Riri classical music festival 2008 will be held on November 7th and 8th in north Gujarat’s Vadnagar. Entry is free for the public in this evening outdoor event organized by Gujarat government cultural affairs department.
This Annual festival was initiated by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi some years back. Narendra Modi belongs to Vadnagar town.
On November 6th, Vadodara’s Maharaja Sayajirav Gaikwad University’s Faculty of Performing arts, Vallabh Vidyanagar’s College of Music, Rajkot’s Sangeet Nritya Mahavidyalaya and Ahmedabad’s Blind Men Association’s classical music students will perform. While on November 7th Akashwani’s artists will perform.
Programs like Heritage walk, music competition and exhibition are also organized in Vadnagar during the festival.
Gujarat assembly speaker and at least four other ministers will attend the festival.
