Manmohan’s address and Modi’s Mumbai “No balls” both disappointing
Manmohan’s address and Modi’s Mumbai “No balls” both disappointing
By Yagnesh Kumar
Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 28 November, 2008
When India was fighting with the external forces in Mumbai, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was at the ground zero in front of cameras where he termed the Prime Minister’s post terror attack statement disappointing. PM’s statement could be disappointing but when our house was attacked, could not we stop for a while to indulge into a verbal fight within the house?
If the Prime Minister’s statement was disappointing, Narendra Modi’s statement too was disappointing considering the place and the time he choose to deliver the statement. Modi was standing near Oberoi hotel in which our security forces were flushing out the armed terrorists at the same time some metres away.
First of all I can’t understand that for a political leader, what was the need to go to such place where an anti-terrorist operation was being carried out? Was there any valid point to go there? I remember that when Akshardham in Gandhinagar happened, Narendra Modi was in his house for the whole night just some metres away when just across the road anti-terrorist operation was being carried out in Akshardham campus. Modi only visited the Akshardham temple after the anti-terrorist operation was completed by NSG commando led by Mr.Rajsithapati next morning.
So what happened this time to Modiji? Even after Maharashtra CM requested him on phone to postpone the visit till anti-terror operations were on in the city, Modi jumped in the terror attacked city next morning via special plane when the anti-terror operations were still on.
More shocking was Modi’s request to have a car-drive inside the Oberoi when NSG operation was on. Modi himself told media about this. Terror attacked places are for political tourism? Not a good idea.
Modi briefed the media that he had arrived up to the hotel to back the security forces on duty. I wonder, who cares if some political leader comes and speaks few words at the time when hand grenades and firings are rampant and frequent?
No other Chief Minister visited the Oberoi or Taj. From BJP, LK Advani had already visited Mumbai. So for what purpose Narendra Modi came in? To make his point to the national media present there ? Or for renewal of his image as an anti-terror mascot in the country?
If in Delhi and Mumbai, Modi’s political visit at the time of the terror attacks is in discussion, in Hindu land Gujarat more discussed topic is Narendra Modi’s visit to Hemant Karkare’s house. Hemant Karkare was Maharashtra’s Anti Terrorist Squad chief. He was killed in a gun fight with terrorists on Wednesday night.
While the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in his address to the nation after Mumbai attack mentioned only Hemant Karkare’s name, Bharatiya Janata Party in it’s statement on Mumbai terror attack decided not to mention Hemant Karkare’s name. Karkare was handling Sadhvi Pragnya’s case. He was instrumental behind Sadhvi and Army officers arrests and alleged unfair torture. Modi had publicly opposed Maharashtra ATS for arrests of Army officials in Malegaon blast case at every recent political campaign rally. BJP had alleged that Karkare’s ATS was working under orders of it’s political masters.
But contradicting the BJP’s stand, Modi out and out visited Karkare’s house and even announced Rs.1 crore for him and other policemen who died in terror attacks. Why did Mr.Modi visited Karkare’s house?
Modi’s Mumbai visit and especially his visit to Oberoi and Karkare’s house was good bowler’s ‘no ball’. People expect much from Modi and Manmohan Singh and if Manmohan Singh disappoints us every time Modi too disappointed us at least for this time.
Narendra Modi is correct Mr.Vilasarao,PM’s address was disappointing

Dear Yagnesh,
I enjoyed reading your article.
However I think there should be something like ‘internal pressure’ at the time of such events.
Modi did this.
NaMo should apologize for this to clean his image. Whatever credit he earned till now he lost most of them in this incident. He should listen to his voice not his supremos.
On the mote that Modi’s Visit was not required I am 100% agree.
But the “facts” given by the writer regarding Modi’s absence at the time of akshardham’s attack is not true. I was present at that time and Most of the Part Mr Modi was present their during the commando operatoin…Infact he had given some suggestions and NSG had implemented that also.
But Yes I am agree that His Visit to the ground zero was not required. Infact whatever he said during the press speach is again not falls. I am disappointed by hearing PM’s Speach. He had given the speeach which Mr Shivaraj Patil Use to give.
And forget the Party Creture Deshmukh.
bravo narendra modi.he could not stop going mumbai cause his blood was boiling most to what was happening to india attack after atteck and goverment has done nothing to stop this war.my pakistani workmate are laughing at me here.shame india ,shame congress party, shame vote bank politics.
very biased article by Mr.Yagnesh Kumar….r u want to write something different…then write about TB patient look like home minister…hijada PM or sl.t Soniya……Narendra Modi just showed his anger and boiling blood there…have u notice comment by our F..king home minister shivraj patil..he said”terrorist were gone before he came to CAMA hospital” like he was gonna be shoot down…u better be carefull Mr. Yagnesh…we got only Modi for future command to genoside all these M…f…r….
ITS OK MR YAGNESH ITS WRONG TIME TO GROUND ZERO,BUT U KNOW VERY WELL ONLY PRESEANCE OF SACHIN TENDULKAR MAKES DIFFREANCE FOR TEAM ITS CREATE HARD IMMAGE FOR OPPOSITION AND GIVE MORAL SUPPORT TO THE TEAM,SIMILLARLLY PRESEANCE OF MODI GIVE BETTER SUPPORT TO OUR ARMY,POLICE AND COMMANDOS,NO DOUBT THEY DONT REQUIRED ANY MORAL SUPPORT,BUT THE PRESEANT GOVERNMENT BROKEN DOWN THEIR MIND BY SHRIKANT PUTOHIT CASE,AND ALSO U WILL SEE THAT AFTER ONE WEEK MR SING AND OUR FASHION PAREDE HOME MINISTER FORGOT ALL THE MATTER,IF U WANT TO THE BODY LANGUAGE YOU CAN SEE MR SINGH NATION SPEECH ,JUST TIME PASS EVEN HE CANNOT SPEEK PROPERLY,MY REQUESTTO ALL THE GUJARATI IN LOKSABHA ELECTION NOT SINGLE SEET GOES TO CONGRESS.JAY JAY GARVI GUJARAT.
Modi has daring to encourage the cops while CM and MMS aer waiting from madam what to do. I dont see problem has occured because of Modi’s visit. He has done great job. This is slap on CM
YAGNESH, you should be ashmed on yourself to think like this for Mr.Modi. You can nt see his courage, his dedication to work and his achievements. You are just seeing his negative side put it in forms of artical. I think this is right time to speak and to visit. Why one should take advantage of this bloody fool UPA govt. In your artical you dont have any strong point to proove his visit in not necessary. BUt I can see so many strong point to proove his visit as necessary. This is time for election and public is very angry on govt so this is right time to blast bomb in public’s heart against UPA govt. Nothing wrong modiji did.
Why anybody not speaking a single word regarding Raj thakare. This happened in mumbai so according to him NSG commando who are from North india should not take part in this operation. Why he did not speak single word in this issue. Where is his army and he did not come out and fight against terrerist.???????? Yagnesh is behind a man who cares for states, Nation and public. Go and write artical against failure of UPA govt and against stupid fellow like raj thakare and naxalists.
Thanks

IT IS NOT TRUE THAT mODI SIR WAS NOT PRESENT AT aKSHARDHAM DURING THE OPERATION…HE WAS THERE. THAT WAS HIS IDEA TO KEEP FLASH LIGHTS ON IN THE NIGHTS….NOT ONLY THAT PEOPLE TURNED THE HEAD LIGHTS ON OF THEIR CARS TOO.
oFFCOURSE mOSIJI SHOULD VISIT THAT PLACE. ATLEAST HE CARES AND HE HAS DARING TO SAY SOMETHING NOT LIKE THE HIJDA PM MANMOHAN SINGH.
WHEN FARMERS WERE DYING VILASRAO WAS ATTENDING THE FILMFARE AWARDS……ATLEAST MODIJI VISITED THAT PLACE.
WE NEED LEADER LIKE HIM WHO CAN SET AN EXAMPLE.
THIS WAS THE MOST DISAPPOININTING ARTICLE BY DESHGUJARAT…..I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE TRYING TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE NUTRAL BUT LET ME TELL YOU IN THAT TRY YOU ARE PUTTING THE MOST DISAPPOINTING ARTICLE OF THE DAY…..
As far I know Modi was in Akshardham in the evening and in the morning but for whole night he was not there. He was at his bungalow.

if you have learnet from media ,many gujaratis died in thia attack.being a c.m of that community ,it is
absolutely necessary to go there.vilasrav and other leader donot carry the courage what modi posses.
the statement about manmohan was right on time.what did he say?bull crab.even a hijda from mumbai
would be the p.m,immediately he would have ordered the army to attack.
to go to “SHAHID”‘s house and express condolence to family is beyond the caste, tribe, religion.it is stupid
to ask why he went to karakre’s house. Agianst bjp agenda he went is an indication that it was beyond politics.
if desh gujarat thinks that this is neutral journalism, than let me tell you this nothing but immature journalism.
tru leadrer go in midst of crisis.manmohan mentioned only the name of “SHAHID KARKER’S “name because
he did not care to obtain enough information.who are you? to question modi’s visit?
j.p if yagnesh kumar is in your team, keep him a side.he does not have ability to express the matter in
matured manner.we love desh gujarat. but we donot appriciate this.

MODI WILL NOT LET GO ANY OCCASSION AND OPPORTNITY WHERE HE WILL NOT BE PRESENT. LET uS SEE MODI WILL GO TO KASHMIR WHEN THERE WILL BE TERRORISTS ATTACK? OR WAR.
Before this article on DeshGujarat, I was thinking that DeshGujarat is pro NaMo site and this site only praises the NaMo. But this article changed my that belief. I think the above article is right in its perspective. Normally, NaMo always does the right things at appropriate time but this time he did the wrong thing at the wrong time. I really don’t understand what was the intention of NaMo’s visit. Does he wanted to prove that he has “56 ની છાતી”? What his visit made a difference to the fighting commandos. But still I kind find some positives from his visit :
1> He named Pakistan as main perpetrator behind the attacks. Even our PM also doesn’t have daring to say Pakistan is behind the attack. When our PM is not having courage of telling a truth, NaMo is speaking out the truth.
2> He announced the relief of 1 crore from brave soldiers who died fighting for the cause of nation.
Hope NaMo takes him above the pathetic party politics and concentrate on working for the well being of our beloved nation.
Krunal
Modi is a honest man and is not just another politician. On this occasion, he must have reacted more out of emotion, but, definitely he DOES NOT seem seeking political mileage.
I can’t fathom how Modi’s visit adds to the moral support of the NSG and military. I think this visit only adds to the nuisance value, wasting the time and effort of security forces who instead of fighting terrorists have to provide security to the VIPs prowling around Mumbai for such opportune moments.
I really dont know one thing that in india if one person want to work, why other oppose it. There is nothing wrong to visit and criticise PM’s comment. Everytime PM’s speech after terror attack disappoint the country and I’m asking you (indian ppl) that howlong it will continue..Here in boston, one of my colleauge who is muslim from briton laugh me and ask me how are you doing, which he didn’t used to tell me in past. This congress government is only interested in vote bank politics and its failure for government to prevent any such terrors in country. It is the responsibility of government to do something for it. I really dont want to see congress in the country in next election…OH GOD PLEASE SAVE MY INDIA FROM THIS CORRUPTED AND SPOILED LEADERS!!!
the comments are really funny
one thing is true,
personality – walk, talk, etc of modi resembles that of a leader
and that of manmohan …….lol
To the all the people complaining about “miyas” laughing at them in foreign ….. just start swearing or counteract with insult ….one pakistani to me “pakistan army, condition of country ya da ya da” my reply “i saw your PM begging hardly for money from IMF even to finish freaking 40-50 days of this fiscal year, i think you guys spend all your money on terrorists, prostitutes and drugs”
simply boycott “miyas” in all aspects, dont buy stuff from their stores, dont watch their movies (i’m sure you suckers cannot live without Shahrukh and other khans), fucking how many of you paid money in black to watch jodha akbar?
bottom line is indians are like animals. all they need is 1. soap operas 2. bollywood khans/movies/songs 3. cricket
Mr Modi Ji you have done nothing wrong. My full support to Mr Modi. Duniya to bolti rehati hai chahe acha karo ya bura. Yagnesh ji hur baat ke do pehalu hote hain bina soche sumjhe kisi pur blame mut kijiye. Mr modi is a great dignity i agree that some times it happens with every human being. He is the Lion of India. He is the Govt of Gujrat the holy land of the lord. How can he rule a land without the Almighties grace but he is doing well.
The foolish peoples are born in all times they cannot judge right or wrong so Yagnesh ji jiyada nahi bolunga bus agar angreji aati hai to uska use pyar se kiya karo. Kisi ke liye jehar mut uglo
To the Author of this article.
Dear Author,
We are not used to having leaders. So when leaders lead from front you feel its a no ball, but that was actually a clean bowled to the nefarious desings of terrorists and the congress and NCP. They dont have the courage of conviction.Do you want Amar singh to question the shoot out and wait for others to commend the job of police. He did the right thing and showed the way we should treat our police and defence personnel. Support them both at the leadership level emotionally and financial support. I read an article in one of those sickular newpapers saying Amar sing has exposed Modi’s dobule standards for chiding ATS for handling Malegaon and now showing up at this house. What Amar singh does not understand , Modi did not beliitle the ATS but he was belitting the congress for utilizing the ATS.
Shame on you Amar signh. You the modern day ‘Jai Chand’
IS MODI’S VISIT TO MUMBAI DURING NSG ACTION, INDICATIVE OF BEING FUTURE HOME MINISTER ? MAY BE THE COUNTRY WILL BE LOT SAFER IN HANDS OF MODI AS HOME MINISTER, LIKE IT WAS WHEN SARDAR PATEL WAS HOME MINISTER.
Author sahll not forget- Narendra Modi is the last man standing between the evil and existence of Bharat and in face of that nothing is relevant- politics, election, personal ambitions….everything absolutely irrelevant because the very essence of ‘satyam sivam sundaram’ aka – Bharat is under the fianl siege which began in 12th century with fall of Pritvi Raj. Hence, no matter what any such people thinks, Narendra modi will keep fighting till the table is turned and we all are with him.
terrorist get success in killing innocent people, we havent won the war but we lost it,time is for india to attack pakistan and finish the root cause of it. and take over it for ever.
This was certainly not a “no ball”. these were his yorkers. Modiji is an opening bowler of BJP & as an opening bowler he can not afford to bowl same length delivery every ball, every over.
He had every right to visit ground zero when country knows that only Modiji is fighting terrorism from front line as a politician & statesman. He has earned this right by his deeds.
Country had already lost intelligence war but there was time & occasion to win a diplomatic war that was being played out internationally. In diplomatic war you can not afford to waste time. Remember, It was an american former state department official who confessed on live TV that this is “india’s 9/11″ before anybody in india could figure out enormousness of the attack. PM of india was treating this attack as one more attack of same kind. that is why PM needed somebody of Modiji’s stature to remind him that he is tackling this attack with a kid glow & instead there is a need to talk tough.
In diplomacy only wining statments like “we are with india & indians in this time of crisis” of foreign countries is not enough. Instead, You have to win their statements which can be demaging to pakistan’s international standing & to win this you need to start talking tough. This kind of unfavourable statement can be useful to put pressure on pakistan to co-operate & make them accept our conditions in future co-operation.
I also dont see anything wrong in announcing one crore compensation for dead police official. He has always announced this kind of compensation, be it for nagpur RSS office attack or ayothya ram janmabhoomi attack. Only because of hemant karkare he can not ignore other police official’s sacrifice. Think for once if he had announced compensation excluding hemant karkare, that would have been more condemning even i would have condemn it. Same logic goes for visiting hemant karkare’s house. If hemant karkare’s wife dont accept compensation from Modiji than, that would be her choice & would mean more compensation for other dead police official’s family.
Tough talk, A person is not required to have training of A k series of weapon to start talking tough.
YOU CAN SEE ABOVE VIDEO NAMO SPEEK WITHOUT ANY FEAR,SEE BODY LANGUAGE.IN VIDEO WE CAN SEE THATAT 4.32 SEC THEIR IS A NOISE OF FIRAING ?EVENTHOUGH WITHOT ANY FEAR HE ISCONTINUE IN SPEECH.WR MANMOHAN IN SPEECH HE CANNNOT OPEN HIS LIPS.SEE OUR PM.

this is the text from newsweek. what a aqurate information? non of our media print this.. the real problem is in congress adminstration and system..

About an hour before the shooting started, villagers on the shore in South Mumbai saw a group of 10 young strangers climbing out of an inflatable raft. The incident was reported to local police, who did nothing. The cops might have displayed more interest if their superiors had given them a heads-up. About four months ago the president of the fishermen’s union, Damodar Tandel, received a warning from a colleague in the coastal state of Gujarat: of the nearly 1,000 fishing boats that shuttle between Gujarat and Mumbai, some might be smuggling munitions and plastic explosives into the city, the friend said. Tandel relayed the message in a letter to the police chief in charge of Mumbai’s port. The chief was asked about that letter last week, during the terrorist siege

…..
state’s antiterrorism chief and two other top police officials arrived at the scene with a posse of cops who were armed with antiquated .303 rifles. Seemingly unaware of any danger, the three men stood unprotected on the firing line, where they were quickly mowed down by sudden bursts of automatic gunfire.
–
Even then, intelligence sources say, the state government didn’t seem to comprehend the magnitude of the attacks. The state’s chief minister delayed nearly two hours before requesting specialized assistance from New Delhi. “The militants know and exploit gaping holes in India’s counter-terrorism architecture and strategy,” says John
Christian and Muslim ministers and leaders of Sonia’s team. This is just a showcase, many more are left out in this video.

The Congress believes, yes it really does, that its leaders alone have the right to ‘politicise’ national security while others should treat it as a ‘national issue’ above partisan politics. So, the Congress has been prompt in berating the BJP for suggesting that the pusillanimous UPA Government is to blame for the repeated terrorist strikes and the attendant death, destruction and devastation across the country. The 60-hour siege of Mumbai by fidayeen is the latest instance of India suffering yet another grievous blow at the hands of jihadis for whom slaughtering innocent people is the highest tribute to their faith. But after reprimanding the BJP for criticising the Government and thus ‘politicising’ terrorism, the Congress has had no compunctions about ‘politicising’ the grief and misery inflicted by mass murderers. On Saturday, the Congress issued a full-page advertisement in its favourite newspaper, listing the various terrorist strikes during the NDA years, casually mentioning the fidayeen attacks in Mumbai, saluting the security personnel killed in these incidents, and then preachily declaring that terrorism is a “national issue, not a political game”. The purpose was to influence people in Delhi hours before they stepped out of their homes to cast their votes in Saturday’s Assembly election.
The advertisement raises two issues, both related to political morality and ethics, which are alien to the Congress and its amoral and unethical leaders. First, according to this advertisement, there have been no terrorist attacks in India between the audacious strike on the Red Fort on December 22, 2000, and the November 26, 2008 assault on Mumbai. This, as every Indian knows, is a blatant lie. I have before me a list of terrorist attacks ever since the present impotent regime headed by an effete Prime Minister took charge of this country’s affairs after a scrambled election result helped the Congress to regain power at the Centre in the summer of 2004. The first attack was on August 16, 2004. The latest was on November 26, 2008. In between we have had terrorists visiting Delhi twice, raiding the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, attacking Sankat Mochan temple in Varanasi, blowing up commuter trains in Mumbai, killing people at an amphitheatre in Hyderabad, blowing up bogies of the Samjhauta Express, and setting off bombs in Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Assam. According to the propagandists of the Congress, none of this has happened!
The second issue raised by Saturday’s advertisement is about the Congress saluting the security personnel who have laid down their lives while fighting terrorists and protecting the nation. If any value is to be attached to the advertisement, we must conclude that the Congress is reluctant to salute Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma of Delhi Police who, like Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad chief Hemant Karkare, was shot dead by terrorists. This is because the Congress wanted to send out, ever so slyly, a message to Muslim voters in Jamia Nagar for whom MC Sharma is not a hero but a villain because he dared raid a terrorist hideout in their locality. We must also presume, since there is no evidence to the contrary, that the advertisement was endorsed, if not cleared, by the Prime Minister. This speaks volumes about the integrity quotient of a man whose honesty, as claimed by his admirers, admittedly a rapidly disappearing exotic breed, is beyond reproach. Perhaps the Prime Minister needs to be reminded that only cowards take recourse to lies to cover up their failures.
Meanwhile, we had the occasion to hear the Prime Minister address a shaken nation 24 hours after the siege of Mumbai began. In his by now familiar laboured style, he expressed his “shock” at “the dastardly terror attacks. “I strongly condemn these acts of senseless violence,” he added. So what’s new? “I share the shock and distress of all those affected by these blasts,” the Prime Minister said on October 29, 2005, after the bombings in Delhi on Dhanteras. He was “shocked” on March 7, 2006, after the Sankat Mochan temple bombing. On July 12, 2006, he did not quite say that he was ‘shocked’ by the Mumbai commuter train bombings, but he did say, “No one can make India kneel” and promised that his “Government will do whatever is required” to deal with terrorism. On February 19, 2007, the Prime Minister was more than ‘shocked’ by the Samjhauta Express bombings — he was “anguished” and promised the “culprits will be caught”. On hearing about the serial bombings in Jaipur on May 13, 2008, the Prime Minister was again “shocked” and condemned “this dastardly attack”. On July 28, 2008, after visiting Ahmedabad following the serial bombings, he took care to mention that he accompanied Ms Sonia Gandhi before expressing “solidarity with the people of Gujarat”. On September 13, 2008, he “condemned the serial blasts in Delhi”; a month-and-a-half later, on October 30, 2008, he “strongly condemned” the Assam bombings.
The Prime Minister now mocks at the victims of terrorism and seeks to fool the people of this country by declaring, “We are not prepared to countenance a situation in which the safety and security of our citizens can be violated with impunity by terrorists… We will take the strongest possible measures to ensure that there is no repetition of such terrorist attacks.” Having countenanced repeated terrorist attacks, which the Congress now brazenly pretends never took place, and silently witnessed the safety and security of our citizens being violated with impunity by terrorists, the Prime Minister now expects the people to believe that he shall join battle with the merchants of death. To prove that he means business, he had his Government, such as it is, to put out the bogus claim that he had summoned the Director-General of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence and the Pakistani Government had meekly conceded his demand. In an interview to Karan Thapar for his television show, Devil’s Advocate, Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has rubbished this claim. According to Mr Zardari, the Prime Minister, in a telephonic talk with him on Friday, had requested for sending a ‘director’ — a mid-level bureaucrat in the official hierarchy. “There was a miscommunication… We had announced that a director will come from my side… That is what was requested by the Prime Minister and that is what we agreed,” Mr Zardari said.
That the Prime Minister, after all his bluster, should settle for talks with a director of the Pakistan Government so as to “take the strongest possible measures to ensure that there is no repetition of such terrorist acts” is a measure of his true intention.
I agree with Krunal and I also was thinking that DeshGujarat is a pro Modi site before this article on DeshGujarat. DeshGujarat has proved today that it has courage to say ‘wrong’ to ‘wrong’ even if it was done by our beloved and respected CM Narendrabhai. We all love Modi for his vision, for his decision power, for his policies for development. BUT, I and many others also think that it was not a good time to visit Mumbai and speak. You can always have a time when operation wrap up. Yes, It was definately no ball from a best bowler.
Narendrabhai is our hero and sometimes heroes also make mistake. Afterall he is a man. We respect Narendrabhai, we love Narendrabhai.
Pavanbhai, we should accept the truth and it doesn’t show maturity to say that you will stop reading DeshGujarat. DeshGujarat is not bound to write what YOU like. Its duty is to write the truth and only truth.
Congrates DeshGujarat and Yagnesh Kumar for your good job.

LIVE COVERAGE RESULTED IN PROVIDING INFO TO TERRORISTS AND SO MANY CASUALITIES-CNN IBN,ND TV (PARTICULARLY) AND TIMES NOW AND HINDI CHANNELS TO ANSWER.ONLY DECENT COVERAGE IS IN NEWS X
News channels showed Kerkere in a civil dress just with helmet and then showed him with a helmet and trying to uncomfortably wear the bullet proof jacket.
The terrorists came to know that the police men had a so called Bullet proof jacket.
The channels are responsible for the gory death of hostages informing terrorists where were all the VIP guests. For eg The fact that Times of India editor Sabina was in the sixth floor room no— was revealed by NDTV 24X7 barkha Dutt. The terrorists wanted max publicity and such high profile guest and room no was enough for them to eliminate her. This same channel and reporter Barkaha Dutt was responsible for the death of Capt Vikram in Kargil by broadcasting his position live and next day enemy targetted him.
Newsblackout is important .So many lives could have been saved
They have also put lives of NSG commandos in danger by identifying their faces.|
I compliment the Navy MARCOS who were in interview with their face covered. At least they kept their secrecy.
Ban the news channel coverage. In such situatin only channel should be a DD channel or an Army channel which can be hosted during operatiosns
Yagnesh Kumar, Thank you for writting the truth…….I am still not clear why people are not understanding Mr. Modi is not the kind of material or will not be accepted in Natioanl politics. Mr. Modi may be successful (due to his Gobals PRACHAR) in Gujarat but the way he is working is not acceptable at national level….if by some how he is getting chance in National politics then it will be sure that there will be big break down in BJP (the same way happened in Gujarat, it was tolrable in Gujarat but it will not at national level) or Mr. Modi will loose his entire political career. Gujarat is not dominating major number of seats in parliament….It is next to impossible for Mr. Modi to become successful at national level. (We also need to be clear that the national politics is not made of Anandiben, Amitbhai, I K Jadeja, Rupala, Sanghani etc…there are bigger KHELADIS are already there).
oh who is this yagneshkumar?
first of all these SOUL LESS journalist should judge their own TRIBE then, they should raise any accusing finger at any other groups…WHAT THIS MEDIA DID in 70 hours?..THE MEDIA, WHETHER, PRINT OR ELECTRONIC,was busy covering the BATTLE going on at TAJ & OBEROI…the likes of BARKHA DATT, SRINIVAS et al, were more concerned about the fate of THE ‘ICONIC’ Taj than, the conditions of those scores of the common men hospitalised due to firing at CST station..Were those gunned down at CST Mumbaikars?Indians?..Then,why not a single TV channel BIGWIGs who were busy showing the anger of ELITES, did not think it fit to visit and find out who are these unknowns..Media immediately flashed the stories of those CROREPATIS and HIGH PROFILE PERSONALITIES holed up in the 5 STAR HOTELS,but, not one MAI KA LAL from this SO CALLED DEFENDERS OF THE NATION’S PRIDE had time to go and find out whether the families of those killled at CST have got enough aids?
JUST LIKE POLITICIANS, MEDIA PERSONS ARE ALSO TOTALLY HYPOCRATES..WHEN THEY TALK OF THE ANGER OF THE NATION,WE SHOULD NOT TRY READ MUCH IN IT..IT SIMPLY MEANS THE ANGER OF THE ELITE, THE CROREPATI, THE FREQUENT REVELLERS,THE COFFEE SIPPING CEOs IN TRIDENT,…YAGNESH IS ALSO THE SAME HY BREEDED JOURNALIST,..SO DONT TAKE HIS WRITINGS SERIOUSLY, and DESHGUJARAT.COM should give chances to this type of JOURNOS TO WRITE,so that the readers will gradually, know the true colors of the TRIBESMEN..
Magan bhai. i am sure you are from Keshubhai’s party….If Namo is not good for national politics then let me tell you you are good for nothing.
perfact ashwin patel. your comment is great.. please read ashwin patel’s comment. i am agree with him 100%.
at least for shake for indian image we have to win deplomatic war.. what ever you speake is right time to propoganda your message to world.
again ban all madresa in india. but you and i know that this congress will now go back to vote bank.. they capture one terrorist, why they declare that he is live. they should hide this fact. but now this terrorist will enjoy birayni in jail. just like afzal.. i hope congress will not charge fake encounter on NSG.. police will capture terrorist and court will prove them innocent.
what happend when gujarat police encounter shurrabdin.. congress put our IS officer in jail..
i think we should prepare for civil war now..
I agree with editor’s point of view, I am literally disappointed with Modi’s action on this, It was completely unnecessary and just politically motivated action to leverage the benefits of it.
I am really follower of Modi and this incident is not going to change my image for Modi but it is definately going to create problem with who just started feeling that Modi is really a good leader…
I dont have any words in debate if somebody ask me question why he visited at the time war is on? It is completely foolish action by great leader like Modi.
Mari vat samvlo! I find it very interesting that all the gujaratis who comment here about how we should be tough and we should attack and we should bomb pakistan are all civilians. Infact I dont think there are more than a 1000 gujratis in the army (the strength of which is over a million and a half). Hmm seems interesting. You guys want others to do your dirty work while you all try any means possible to go settle in the states? I have 3 generations in the army and have friends who have died fighting these jihadi vermin. So please get a life.. Interesting fact – there was a whole battalion of muslims (from the grenadiers) and no gujarati in the Kargil operations.
