Rs 1 crore Golden throne for Lord Krishna in Dwarkadhish temple

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate Rs. 1 crore golden throne to Lord Krishna in Shri Dwarkadhish temple at Dwarka on December 12th. The Golden throne would replace existing silver throne in the temple.
Precious material for making new throne includes 6.5 Kg gold and 50 kg silver. All the cost for new throne is sponsored by a devotee Babubhai Rabari who is also BJP MLA from Kankrej constituency.
The throne has excellent carving that depicts Dashavatar darshan.
December 12th is a full moon day(Poonam) according to the Gujarati/Hindu calender. Babubhai is going to organize a grand celebration on this occasion in which 15000 devotees are expected to take part. All the hotels in Dwarka are booked on this day.
