Dalai Lama to inaugurate Morari Bapu’s world religion conference

For international peace and unity, Gujarat based Ram kathakar Morari Bapu will organize a World Religion conference at Gujarat’s Mahuva from January 6 to 11th 2009. The six-day conference being held at Kailash Gurukul in Bhavnagar district, will seek ways and means to deal with the discord among major religions.
According to the details announced in Mumbai press conference, Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness Dalai lama and Morari Bapu will address the conference on inauguration day.
During January 7th to 11th, Prime Minister of Tibetan government in-exile Samdhong Rinpoche(Dharamshala) will deliver his address on Buddhism, Buddhist Zen leader Dr Shu Hikposaka from Japan, Sufi from Ajmer Sharif Diwan Saiyad Zeinul Abedin Ali Khan(on Islam), Bishop Dr. Prabalkant Dutt of Durgapur(on non-Catholic Christianity), Jain muni Ashoksagar Suri from Palitana( on Jainism), Catholic spiritual leader Oswald Cardinal Gracious from Mumbai(on Catholic Christianity), Shia leader Maulvi Abbas Ali Khui from Vishakhapatnam(on Shia Islam), Buddhist preacher Bhadant Gyan Jagat Tehro(on Buddhism), Sunni leader Dr Mufti M Mukaram Ahmed Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri(on Sunni Islam), Swami Satyarupanand from Raipur, Jathedar Gyani Gurubachan Singh from Amritsar(on Shikhism), Kanchi Shaknkaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati(on Hinduism) and Dastur Dr. Peshtan Hormazadiar Mirza(Mumbai/Udvada) on Zoroastrian will also deliver their speeches.
