Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today spent first day of the year 2009 with Border Security Force jawans deployed at the India-Pakistan international border in Kutch district of Gujarat. Modi visited Vighokot border post and Kori creek, Savla peer areas near Koteshwar. Modi offered sweets to BSF jawans(total 650 kg. Kathiavadi Adadia pak boxes were distributed). He observed Wired fencing and pillar post on the international border. He visited creek areas in floating outpost ‘Pratap’.
Praising Border Security Force jawans’ vigilance on the international border, Modi said “Thanks to these jawans because of whom Gujarat and the nation feel secure. Our jawans are capable to answer the enemy in the language it understands. Far from their family life, their pleasure and comfort, these jawans are continuously serving Bharat Mata in adverse conditions here. Their spirit to defend the nation is commendable.”
“Pakistan has no capacity to wage direct war with India. Therefore it has taken a proxy war route. Pakistan has sparked a war with India by attacking Mumbai via sea route. It is now a time for India to answer back. We are in favor of peace but those who think our peace as our weakness should be answered in their own language. Seeing the current situation, we have to finish the enemy’s strength,” Modi said.
Chief Minister’s principal secretary K.Kailashnathan, Director General of Police P.C.Pande, BSF IG Gujarat Frontier Shekhavat, DIG Prasad, District Collector R.R.Varsani, District Development Officer Rajkumar Benival, D.S.P. Vabang Zamir, BSF 11th Battalion Commandant Pramodkumar etc. accompanied the Chief Minister during border visit.

I salute these BSF jawans and their duty to secure our people in the state and country. I also appreciated narendra bhai to have praised and thanked them. They are truely heroes of our country and narendra bhai has marked their service and duty for the country. We really need such a leader at a bigger role in the country to have more security, uncorruptable administration, strong voice and zero tolerance on terrorism and proactive governance for the development in the country. Hope We will see him in a bigger role soon!!!!!

cool modiji. i like it but it is also expected from this kind of man.(modiji) but it is shocking for me that this kind of thing didn’t show on tv channel. modiji is elected by people of gujarat.why he is show everytime in bad light? because certain community(bad muslims) of india is not like. this is pathetic to see this kind of propoganda by bias indian media. this media doesn’t see or speak truth.definately modiji had taken very strong action against muslim community(unfair too) and little communal too. but if you see the world right now where we live in , it is very good step against terror and terrorism. indian media must show true nature of world to indian population and truely educate the india. and also make indian public responsible.make amitabh bachachan as an icon rather than confused and religious shahrukh khan. it is very important for kid to understand this.
indian media must respect the gujarat people verdict on election. rather than blame the whole state.that is very negative approach for future of gujarat. this delhi politic give too much pain to gujarat and mumbai people who work so hard to earn. this is painful to see as an doctor in new york.
