Vadoara-Bharuch highway to become 6 lane by July this year

The Vadodara-Bharuch highway project which involves conversion of four-lane highway into six-lane one will be completed by July 2009 according to L&T officials.
This 83.3 km highway between Vadodara and Bharuch is important part of the Golden Quadrilateral and is a busy link connecting Mumbai and Delhi.
Work on this Rs800 crore Build-Operate-Transfer(BOT) project started in January 2007. According to L&T officials, the project which has to be completed by July 2009 is on schedule. To ensure completion of this project on time, more than 2500 workers are working round the clock.
Once commissioned this six-lane highway will have 11 flyovers, two new railway over bridges, two rest areas, vehicular underpass, passenger underpasses, service roads and a modern highway traffic management system.
It should be noted that recently when Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi visited Ankleshwar, he had said in a public meeting that “People are facing serious problem for past two years due to delay in widening of national highway between Vadodara and Mumbai. All such questions would be answered in next Parliament elections.”

i,think,the highway,coastal highway,golen corridor ,project was the introduction of atalji.may be upa govt.
dod not cancell that project and kept on going.
i,think real bhartiya doesnot have update knowledge.like arjun modhwadia.when nano came he just gave
a press note and said that instead of narendra modi,tata shoud be honoured.but he did not know
that tata was given gujarat ratna award in previous summit.so,in jeoulsy he lost the mind controll
and he declared him self as poor, lac of information and no,knowledge.this kind a leader what can do?

if many people know or not but here is some fact.
this goldern corridor suupose to complete many year back.. when vajpai govt, complted their 5 year golern corridor was almost complted 70% to 75 %. this UPA govt didn’t completed rest of project even after 5 year.
another interesting is the express way between Baroda and surat has been converted existing NH 8. so, they upgrade existing highway to express way. so need any more land for highway. so they save lac of farm land. in contradiction is that congress came with express way between baroda and ahmedabad in in 1988 . that time the total cost was 90 Cr ruppe. congress govt. spend 110 cr ruppies for baroda-ahmedabad express way and what was the output . the output is that they aquire farm land and did some surface. they made some piller for over bridge. and that it. there was no work on ahemedabad-baroda express way until vajpeey govt launch goldern corridor project.
so you can understand that congress was launch project only made money. they aquired preciouse land of farm between ahemedabad and vadodara. which consider best land for farming. still the express highway between ahmedabad-baroda is still under utilization.. just thoght instead of making new express way between ahmedabad-vadodara express way they have to upgarda exsting NH8 between vadodara-ahmedabad.. but this congress was interested in making money..
look at what Namo did for panchmahal cannel. they used Narrow gage railway land for canal. so without wasting any farm land.. in india every inch of farm land need to save..
i hope local resident of gujarat, india can get all this kind of news and analysis for bright future of their own and thier family. otherwise hum gulam lok gulami hi pasand hey. congress will rule for another 50 year despite of such bad mismanagement.

How about coastal Highway project, Government should take initiatives to connect all major and miner ports by constructing highways. It would be really wonderful. What name should we give!! Western Corridor !!!
Atalji initiated “East-West Corridor” & “Golden Quadrilateral” projects. So unfortunate that he could not be PM for second term.
Atalji had the guts for “Pakhran 2″.
Modiji brought Nano to our Gujarat.
Under Modiji, there is no power-cut in a village, 100 kms away from Ahmedabad.
NOTE: There is Power-cut on a daily basis in suburbs of “FINANCIAL CAPITAL OF INDIA — MUMBAI”.

i think Gjarati, db and Uttam has no brain. they r taling like dumbs, then dont have any knowledge and facts. they r talking and supporting their statements against the facts. these r only emotional statements. only fools will give such type of statements. Fact is that NDA could not do anything in their tenure as a govt they only wasted the time of indians and dragged india backwards. and they even dont know how to do the work. and UPA govt is experienced and has done all these things but they dont believe in advertiseing it. according to me Dr. Manmohan Singh is perfact man to lead indai.
