“The BJP government if elected to centre will never compromise on corruption and terrorism,” BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Shri L.K.Advani said here in a rally. Advani said that if elected, his government would try to make a situation where farmers would not have to suicide.

“Some time it seems, corruption has become a tradition. When support to UPA government was withdrawn by leftists, Manmohan Singh could simply resign and dissolved the parliament. Recently when we met, I said him that this could be the best option. But what they choose at that time was shameful act of crime and corruption. Just for four to six months of power, they choose to start trading of MPs. Because of delimitation, many careers of many MPs were to end. Congress men approached this bunch of 80 to 100 MPs and bought their vote spending 10 to 15 crore for each head. They didn’t feel shame. Our three honest MPs who came in to the house and showed the money they were offered for their votes were brave and real. But Congress demanded action against them,” Said Advani.

Advani said, “these days Congress leaders say that the parliament attack happened when Advani was Home Minister. I want to say, that security persons inside the parliament house do not keep weapons. Terrorists were knowing this fact and therefore they wanted to enter inside the parliament building. They were knowing very well that once they are inside the house, they can kill 750 MPs of Rajya Sabha ane Lok Sabha. This means, no parliament and no democratic system. We are fortunate that at that time our CRPF jawans risked their lives and killed all five terrorists. We took prompt steps and within a year conspirator Afzal Guru was sentenced to death. But court verdict has not been implemented yet because he is Afzal Guru, a Muslim. If he was Anand or Anand Singh, situation could be different. Even Muslims are not happy with such acts of appeasement.”
