Clinton Foundation to sign MOU with Gujarat govt for Solar power

Mr. Ira Magaziner, President of America’s Clinton Foundation, on Monday, met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at Gandhinagar with his delegation to discuss a Solar-Thermal power project in Gujarat.
According to state information department, the Clinton Foundation proposed to develop a 3000 to 5000 MW Solar-Thermal power plant in Gujarat. The Government of Gujarat showed positive interest. At the end of the discussion, the Government of Gujarat and Clinton Foundation decided to sign Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) in near future as technology partner and infrastructure developer for this project. MOU will be signed after proper location for the proposed project is decided.
