The Government of Gujarat has proposed the central government to include 11 more towns of the state in Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission(JnNURM).

Names of three towns Jamnagar, Gandhidham and Morbi are proposed considering over 6 billion American dollar investment. Names of Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Navsari, Bardoli, Valsad, Anand, Mehsana and Palanpur are proposed as they fall on proposed Delhi-Mumbai dedicated freight Industrial Corridor.

Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Porbandar are already under JnNURM. Gujarat’s proposal to include Anand and Gandhinagar in JnNURM is pending.

if the name of Ankleshwar is mentioned for infrastructure (Which is good), then Vapi should not be left behind into an unplanned mess, or a disaster zone and silent-terrorism pollution nightmare.
Vapi bears the biggest burden of the Gujarat’s progress. The entire Gujarat collects the benefits from Vapi but it leaves the poison in the rivers of Vapi for the native population to digest.
Vapi provides the highest exchequer to the Gujarat Government, yet the shameless Government treats it like outside of Gujarat, allowing the Mother Daman Ganga, and Mother Bhagwan nadi, Mother Par to be raped by the western market industries for cheap dollars to Gujarat. It shows that Gujarat government is a partner in crime for illegal, immoral and unethical pollution that was started by the goondaraj Kangress.
The Mother rivers flowing through Vapi region has been criminally neglected by the successive Gujarat government. Very soon they will stop voting for the BJP.
