The Surat Police has started a new initiative called ‘Student -Police Van’ to check romeos and anti-social youths in the city. Students Mobile Van has filed total 155 cases in two days.

On Thursday Police Inspector P.R.Desai nabbed a 25-year-old Muslim youth Imran Majid Saiyad with a Brahmin school girl. Imran had trapped and lured a school girl and was planning to run away with her. Imran who drives rickshaw on rent and lives in city’s Bapunagar slum area was sitting with standard 12th girl in a rickshaw behind Jyotindra Dave garden when Police arrived at the spot and nabbed him. Both Imran and a girl were taken to the Police station where police called a girl’s school principal and parents and narrated details about their girl’s planning to run away with Imran. Adajan Police has filed a complaint against Imran under section 107 and 151.

Surat’s Umra police detained three couples in compromising position near Dumas town primary school. Sanjay Madhukar Shinde, Jyotindra Balubhai Patel and Mohammad Asif Mohammad Ali were nabbed by the police with the girls. Mohammad Asif had trapped a Brahmin girl. Brahmin girl was warned and her parents were called to the police station. Mohammad Asif lives near Jumma Masjid in Kosamba.

In another incident, Adajan Police detained three couples who were in compromising position at public place. Police detained Raju Natvar Painter, Ashwin Bhagubhai Patel and Chandan Maurya with girls, they were sitting with.

Surat Police also arrested five romeos whose activities near Palanpur Patiya area schools and tuition classes were found offending. Nishansingh Sardar(19), Rshmikant(25), Mayur Patel(21), Chintu Mistry(19) were among those who were arrested.

Surat police on Thursday also raided Bhatar road’s Mist Hookah bar where rapists Shahid Saiyad and Tariq Saiyad were regular visitor. Shahid, Tariq and one Imran used to trapp Hindu girls from this Hookah bar. Police filed a complaint against hookah bar manager Sandip Ramnivas Solanki. Police also detained a student Jaykumar Patel for having porn video in his mobile. Jay was sitting in parking of Mist hookah bar when police carried out raid there. Police has also arrested one book seller who was selling pornographic books near Bhatar cross road. Police seized 292 porn books from the seller.

Meanwhile three Surat rapists Shahid, Tariq and Abu Bakar will be taken to Gandhinagar next week for their narco analysis tests.
