Daklu is North Gujarat’s rural folk music instrument on the verge of extinction. Traditionally Daklu is used in Bhakti of Goddesses. In the video above, we talk with Prakash Parmar, an artist who has become instrumental to bring Dakla beat in happening grounds of Ahmedabad. Narration and talk in the video is in Gujarati.
