મારા વહાલા સ્નેહીજનો…
માતાઓ, બહેનો, યુવાન મિત્રો, વડીલો, બાળકો…
આભાર સહ વંદન…
આપની લાગણીના ધોડાપૂરમાં મારી માંદગી પણ તણાઈ ગઈ.
મારી આ બિમારીએ દેશ-વિદેશમાં આપ સહુને ચિંતામાં મૂકી દીધાં; દુઃખી કર્યા.
જાણે-અજાણે, આપ સૌને મેં દુઃખ પહોંચાડયું તે માટે ક્ષમા પ્રાર્થું છું.
આપ સહુનો આ અપાર સ્નેહ અને આપના પ્રત્યેની લાગણી, મને આપણા ગુજરાત પ્રત્યે દિવસ-રાત દોડતી રાખતી. પ્રત્યેક પળ ગુજરાત માટે ખપી જવાનો આનંદ, આપના પ્રેમના લીધે જ હંમેશા બેવડાઈ જતો.
ગળાડૂબ કામની વ્યસ્તતા વચ્ચે, ક્યારેય મેં વિચાર્યું પણ નહીં કે શરીરનો પોતાનો પણ ધર્મ હોય છે. આખરે આ બિમારીએ શરીરને ફરજિયાત આરામ કરાવ્યો પણ આ શારીરિક બિમારીમાં આપની લાગણીના સ્પર્શથી તરબતર રહેવાની મને સુખદાયી અનુભતિ થઈ.
દેશ અને દુનિયાના ખૂણે ખૂણેથી અવિરત વહેતો રહેલો આ પ્રેમપ્રવાહ મારા અંતરમનને ભીંજવી ગયો. આપની આ લાગણી, આ સંવેદનાસભર હૂંફ, સ્પર્શ માટે વર્ણન કરી શકે તેવા શબ્દો મારી પાસે નથી. ક્યારેય કલ્પી પણ ના શકું તેવો આ સુખદ અનુભવ છે.
આપ સૌ સ્નેહીજનોએ મારી ચિંતા કરી, મારી પીડાને પોતાની બનાવી. મારી આ પીડા દૂર થાય તે માટે અનેક પ્રકારની વેદના સહન કરી; ઈશ્વરના પ્રાર્થના-દ્વાર ખટખટાવ્યા. આપનાથી બનતું બધું જ આપે મને સાજો કરવા કર્યું.
આપના આ સ્નેહ પ્રત્યે આભારની લાગણી વ્યક્ત કરી અટકી જાઉં તો મને પણ ખટકે. આપના સ્નેહભાવથી જ મને મારું સ્વાસ્થ્ય પરત મળ્યું છે અને બમણી શક્તિથી આપ સહુની સેવામાં કામે લાગણી એવો વિશ્વાસ આપું છું.
આપની લગાણીએ મને સમાજ માટે જીવવાની, ઝઝૂમવાની નવી શક્તિ આપી છે. ફરી એકવાર આપના પ્રેમ, લાગણી, સંવેદના, સ્નેહ, હુંફ અને શ્રદ્ધા – સધળા ભાવોને વિનમ્રભાવે નમન કરું છું.

Great man, great leader, great CM and above all great human, still more to be done for gujarat and india. India needs political leadeer like you in multiple numbers so think how to breed thiese quality among young indians.
