Work begins on Jagat Mandir Dwarka campus revamp

A 2.5 crore Rs project to develop and enlarge a Dwarkadhish Jagat Mandir at Dwarka began this week.
In the first phase, nearby structures such as Devasthan Samiti office, Police chowki, old jail etc. are being demolished to clear 25,000 square ft space.
The revamp project will be completed in 13 months according to sources. Reliance Industries is participating in this government project.
A hall for pilgrims, shade with sitting arrangements, store room, shoes stand, drinking water, luggage locker room etc facilities will be introduced in revamped campus of Dwarkadhish Mandir.

Isn’t India a secular country? Of course there are exceptions – financing Haj, madrassas, all the caste and religion based reservations and most all electoral politics of Congress, BJP, BSP, etc. But, usually, when it comes to Hindu items, we usually turn away as ‘secular’. I am surprised to see gov financing a temple construction. Are you sure this is funded by Gujarat Gov?
Its a Gujarat Heritage Sight. GOVT OF GUJARAT HAS ALL RIGHTS TO SAVE. BY THE WAY, TOURISTS PAY TO VISIT THIS SITE. IS THIS SECULAR? WHY MAKE MONEY ON HINDU TEMPLES TOURS? SAME DOES NOT COME FROM MOSQUES OR CHURCHES (THESE SUCK YOUR MONEY)
AND YES, IF 200 CRORES IS GIVEN TO HAJ, 200 CRORES OF LAND IS SOLD TO MISSONARIES, ILLAGALS OF BANGLADESH… WHY NOT TO SAVE A TEMPLE THAT IS HISTORY OF GUJARAT………..
GO TO MAHARASHTRA, DELHI… BIG TIME Andhra PRADESH……….ALL GOVT FUNDS TO RESTORE MOSQUES, CHURCHES UNDER MINORITY (20% now) CLAUSE FOR VOTES!
