Partial Solar Eclipse observed in Gujarat

Solar eclipse was today watched through filter glasses at various spots in Gujarat.
At Ahmedabad based Gujarat Science City, many curious visitors gathered to watch Solar eclipse using modern instruments in presence of eminent scientists who throughout guided the students and youths about Solar eclipse.
In Gujarat, the Solar eclipse was partially seen.
It should be mentioned that this is the logest duration Solar eclipse of the century.
Meanwhile, major Mandirs of Gujarat including Ambaji, Somnath and Dwarika remained closed during the Solar eclipse. Aartis were rescheduled and Mandirs were washed using river waters.
