Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation sealed as may as 1456 properties on Friday due to non-payment of property tax. In last 15 days, the AMC has sealed total 3827 properties in its limit.

Friday’s sealing drive sparked discussion in the city because it included at least 10 school complexes. The schools that are sealed due to non payment of Property tax are: Utkarsh vidhyalaya, RD vidhyalaya, Navrang vidhyalaya, Madhav vidhyalaya, Sahyog school, MS Marathi school, Natraj school, Shantiniketan school, Jyoti school and Madhav international school.

Nine out of ten schools paid half the amount of tax and the were unsealed.
