The Government of Gujarat is in process to implement an idea to recreate the song of Gujarat: ‘Jay Jay Garvi Gujarat’ in voices of Shri Lata Mangeshkar(whose mother was Gujarati), Himesh Reshamiya, Ismael Darbar, Pandit Jasraj and other famous singers in view of Gujarat state’s golden jubilee celebration this year.

‘Jay Jay Garvi Gujarat’ is most popular Gujarati patriotism song penned by Narmad before two centuries.

Gujarat government has invited 20 top-singers of India to contribute their voices for remake of ‘Jay Jay Garvi Gujarat’.

The final product in audio and video would ultimately be telecast on TV, internet, FM radio, mobile phones(as caller tune), and even movie theatres on or around 1st May.

A video of ‘Jay Jay Garvi Gujarat’ will be created through professional choreographers of Bollywood. Various locations of Gujarat are being identified for this.
