Stars to walk on ramp wearing traditional Gujarati dresses

Film stars and celebrities will walk on ramp in Vibrant Fashion Week, 2010, season-1 here to showcase and promote Gujarat’s traditional textile including Patan’s Patola Saree. The fashion week will begin on 21st February. Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited is one of the organizers of this fashion week. India’s top 30 models will walk on ramp during this fashion week at Ahmedabad’s hotel Courtyard Marriott. According to Akshar Event and Entertainment’s Director Manish Sharma, the fashion week will provide platform to Gujarat’s traditional dresses including Patola and Bandhni. Actors and models including Tanushree Dutta, Udita Goswami, Sharman Joshi, Sophie Choudhury and Jacqueline are expected to walk the ramp. The event begins at 6 pm on Saturday and 4 pm on Monday and Tuesday at the Courtyard Marriott.
