Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 25 February, 2010
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who became the first batsman in ODI history to hit a double hundred, has been rested for the 3rd ODI in Ahmedabad, which will be held on February 27.
Since India has already won the three-match series 2-0, the Indian team management will test its bench strength in the final ODI. Besides Sachin Tendulkar, some other key players may be rested.
While India played its top players in the first two ODIs, players like Sudeep tyagi, Abhishek Nayar, Ravichandran Ashwin and Amit Mishra are still cooling their heels on bench. Some of them may get a chance to play in the 3rd ODI. It’s clear that Sehwag is not going to play in Ahmedabad.
