Bollywood film star Madhavan was guest of Ahmedabad on Sunday to attended the Audi quattro Cup 2010 hosted at the Kensville Golf Club by Audi Ahmedabad.

Speaking with reporters, Madhavan said, three has been lucky for him. “Whether it is 13B, 3 Idiots, Teen Patti or my next Tanu Weds Manu which again has three words without having the number in it,” Madhavan said here.

“Three (the number) has got something to do with me… I just don’t know, but it’s just got into me,” he added.

While 3 Idiots has managed to become Hindi cinema’s highest grosser till date with collections crossing Rs.315 crore worldwide so far, 13 B that released last year grossed close to Rs.22.5 crore in both Hindi and Tamil of its Rs.6 crore budget.

Madhavan said he was not much fond of Holi and therefore was here to attend a Golf function on Holi.

In Audi quattro cup 2010 held at Kensville, Harish Parikh & M. Mashruwala emerged as the winners. Kiran Patel & Jyotin Gaur emerged as the first runner’s up team and Purav Shah and Ketul Patel became second runner’s up. More than 100 golf enthusiasts participated in this tournament.

The top two winning teams will be participating in the Indian final of the Audi quattro Cup in September 2010. In the various skills contest held, the team of Wing Commander Sunil Chacko & Munish Patel won the ‘maximum pars’ award while Mahesh Parikh won the ‘Closest to pin’ prize. Naresh Jethwani emerged as the winner for the “Straightest Drive” .
