Modi’s air travel costs Rs 69 lakh in a year

Gujarat government spent over Rs 69 lakh on plane and helicopter travel by the state Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of State of Civil Aviation Saurabh Patel said here today.
In a written reply to a question raised by Congress MLA Anil Joshiyara, Patel said that the expenditure on Modi’s plane travel in the last one year till January 31, 2010 worked out to Rs 20,39,158.
A sum of Rs 49,13,965 was spent on his travel by helicopter, he said, adding the state-owned helicopter was also used by other leaders.

looking at productivity point of view, this expenditure is very minimal. In other words it is cost effective.
So what ? It’s 21st century !!!! Do you expect them to travel in BALADGAADEE ? To get the work done most efficiently one has to provide state of the art facilities. Air planes, helicopters, computers and I-Phones are nothing for someone who has done so…………..much.First do the calculation of 60 years travelling expense of all other leaders and their families .A house cost more than that in Gujarat. It’s nothing. He deserves Air Force One ASAP.

Only 69Lakhs for One year??? thats great!! whereas other CM air travel expense are 1.5 to 2 crore.. this figure much better than other states eventhough Mr. Modi working more than others and also saving public money..

What about the money he makes for betterment of GREAT GUJARAT by auction of his gifts.. I am sure that money will be at least doubled the amount of money he spends on this trips..
Worthful,modiji gives back in form selling his persoal articles and gift worth of almost 2 cr everyyear.
I think there should no congi. atleast in Gujarat. And there should be no election till Mr. Modi is here.
