IK Jadeja to head Swarnim committee with cabinet status

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has appointed ex-cabinet minister IK Jadeja as Executive President of Swarnim Gujarat Golden Goal Committee).
Jadeja one of the closest loyalists of Chief Minister Narendra Modi had lost assembly election in 2007. Since then he was active in party’s organizational set up. He was recently appointed Vice President of Gujarat BJP. Jadeja was state BJP spokesperson earlier.
As Jadeja has been awarded a cabinet minister’s status, he will enjoy a government car with red light, a bungalow in Gandhinagar’s ministerial enclave and also an office in Secretariat according to sources.
