Modi to grace several inaugurations and events in Rajkot on 14th

Ahead of the 64th Independence Day celebrations, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will flag off “Rath Yatra” to be taken out under the state government”s ”Vanche Gujarat” scheme to spread message of importance of reading on 14th of Agust. The yatra would be taken out around 07:30 hours from Virani High School.
The CM will then go straight to Saurashtra University where he will dedicate two buildings and address students.
In the afternoon Modi will lay the foundation stone of a “drainage system” near 150 feet Ring Road before laying foundation stone of Express Feeder Line. Before taking part in “Dhanya Dhara Saurashtra” the traditional programme to highlight development of Saurashtra region, Modi will open Pradhyumannagar zoo.
Nearly 629 various development projects worth Rs 686 crore are either being inaugurated or dedicated by the various ministers of Gujarat in a fortnight to make the Independence day celebrations memorable.
