Rs 2 million ST Bus robbery on Morbi highway,2 killed,alert in districts

Police in Rajkot, Surendranagar and Ahmedabad districts was on alert on Friday evening, after shocking Rs 2 million loot on Morbi-Nagdavas highway, in which two people were shot dead.
On Friday, late in the evening, the unidentified looters stopped Bhuj-Talaja state transport(ST) bus near Nagdavas village located at some distance away from Morbi in Rajkot district. The looters killed bus driver Baldevsinhji Gohil(Vartej, Bhavnagar) and courier company employee Amrutsinhji Rajput. They looted Rs 20 lakh from the bus, and fled away in Indica car no. GJ 1X 4586. They looted this much of big amount from two courier company employees in the bus.
Soon after this incident, the police ordered strict vehicle checking on all connected highway routes. In this course, when Patdi PSI H.J.Bhatt was checking the vehicles, he spotted a suspicious Indica car and, as the car didn’t stop even after ordered to do so, PSI Bhatt chased it in police vehicle. The car rushed towards Malvan road, where near Vani village, it faced minor accident. This compelled the looters to come down from the car. When PSI Bhatt’s car approached them, the looters started firing. According to primary details received, both police and the looters exchanged 4-4 rounds of firing. Surendranagar DSP Premvirsingh has confirmed this.
There is strict checking going on in nearby highways and villages. The looters are extra ordinarily dangerous, and police is on high alert.
