Diabetic Amit Shah hospitalised after chest pain complain

Former Gujarat minister Amit Shah, arrested in connection with the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case, was taken out of the Sabarmati jail and taken to the civil hospital in Ahmedabad on Tuesday after he complained of chest pain. He has been admitted to ward G-6 of the hospital under high security for medical treatment.
Shah is also diabetic. He had undergone a minor incision in the jail hospital Monday following an abscess. Doctors said various tests had been conducted on Shah. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Shah on July 25. A close aide of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. The judicial custody of the former minister of state for home ends on September 3.His bail plea hearing is scheduled on 7 September.
