Baba Ramdev to set up Ayurved/Yoga ashram near Gandhinagar

Baba Ramdev will set up Patanjali Yogpeeth, a research centre for yog and Ayurved in Varsoda village near Gujarat capital Gandhinagar as headquarter of the western region of the country for his activities.
Patanjali Yogpeeth, Gandhinagar will come up over 22 acre land donated by 75-year-old real estate dealer Kanjibhai Chaudhari (Pamolwala) on Gandhinagar-Mahudi highway. Chaudhari had bought this land about ten years back to construct a water park.
Apart from Ayurveda consulting and yoga training camps, medicinal herbs will be grown here and a processing unit for manufacturing Ayurvedic products will be set up.
