Five Gujarati players shine in IPL auctions:Yusuf Pathan on top

The IPL Cricket team auction for players concluded today, and following are the positions of Gujarati players.
Yusuf was auctioned for highest sum among all Gujarati cricketers. Final bid for him was $2.1 million Rs. 9.66 crore, and the team Yusuf will represent is Kolkata Knight Riders.
So brother Irfan Pathan was just behind Yusuf with $1.9 million Rs.8.6 crore auction price. Irfan will play for Delhi Daredevils.
Another Gujarat player Ravindra Jadeja was auctioned for $ 950,000 Rs. 4.37 crore for Kochi team(Jadeja’s auctioned happened like this: Delhi Daredevils liked Ravindra Jadeja more than Deccan Chargers, $700,000. Surprise, sudden bidder, Kochi bid $ 750,00, Kochi taking on Delhi by the horns, $ 950,000 their latest bid for Jadeja, and they had him). Ahmedabad’s Parthiv Patel will also play for Kochi team. He was auctioned for $ 290,000 Rs. 1.33 crore (Parthiv’s bid took place like this: $100,000 the start bid. Mumbai Indians $110,000, Kochi chips in, $170,000. Kochi willing to go to $260,000 for Patel. $ 290,000 and Kochi took Parthiv Patel)
Gujarat’s another cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara will represent the Riyal Challangers team. He was auctioned for Rs. 3.50 crore. His auctioned happened like this: Cheteshwar Pujara, opening bid $100,000. Chennai mad the opening bid. Delhi nudged in, Royals were very interested, made a bid of $550,000. Challenged by Bangalore, $600,000. Royals made a bid of $700,000, and bought Pujara.
