-Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today appointed nine members in Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC).

One bill was to imply green cess over power generation, another was to allow tax over mobile tower to local authorities, one bill ensured two and half hour term for Municipality Presidents, one more bill passed would make it compulsory to table Comptroller and Auditor General report of local bodies in Gujarat assembly.

-D.K.Trivedi commission had demanded Forensic Science Laboratory report of Dipesh/Abhishek deaths near Asaram Ashram. However the state government has challenged such demand of Trivedi commission in Gujarat High Court citing reason that it can harm ongoing investigation in Asaram Ashram case.
