Tourist facilities to be developed at Ranjit Sagar dam, Bhanvad’s Shani dev mandir

A meeting of district Tourism Committee of Jamnagar chaired by Collector Sandipkumar was held yesterday in Collector office in presence of DDO, DRDA Director, Deputy Collector, Forest Officer and Jamnagar Municipal Corporation’s Deputy Commissioner.
A sum of Rs 400 lakh was approved for development of Ranjit Sagar dam, Rs 251 lakh development plan of Bhavnad’s Shani dev mandir was given in-principal approval. As per the decision taken in the meeting, a sum of Rs 70 lakh has been allotted under rural tourism scheme, Rs 48.58 lakh under tourism circuit scheme, Rs 73.5 lakh for the development of Pirotan island and Rs 15 lakh for tourism guide training.
