The city of Amdavad today got a newly-constructed ITI railway under-bridge in Naroda.
The under-bridge was inaugurated by Urban development minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel.
New bridge is expected to ease the traffic woes for those traveling towards airport and Gandhinagar highway.
The technology used for construction of the bridge is contiguous pile, which is the latest and is first-of-its-king in the city. The under-bridge has been constructed using pillars and slabs. In all, 210 pillars have been used in the construction. The technology will prevent the overhead slab from collapsing in case of any natural disaster.
Construction of the 498-metre long under-bridge has been completed at a cost of Rs 12.54 crore.
