First day of Shri Amitabh Bachchan’s Gujarat Tourism ad film shooting ended today. Late in the evening Shri Bachchan tweeted his experience on first day on Twitter. He also put some pictures on Twitter. Following are Shri Bachchan’s today’s relevant tweets.

-A grueling schedule for the day, but what a joy to be at the Rann of Kutch .. white desert, kites, camels, ricks and the COG!!

-COG: Colors of Gujarat !!

-Putting up some pictures of the day – at the Rann !!

-At the Rann of Kutch, the white desert .. amazing ..

-Endless miles of the white desert, and on the other end Pakistan .. this region the locale for the oldest civilization in the world

-Indus valley Civilization, the oldest in the world .. now wiped out disappeared, many theories, but one prominent – earthquake

-The Indus river gone and dry .. the Rann was once under the sea .. now dried up with salt remains, hence white … Incredible sight

-But the rourism campaign has been a boon … tourist flocking in the hundreds .. and locals getting employment like never before !!

-Mia Hussain the sarpanch of the area, has ability to get his daughters married off. People earned in a month what they did in year !

-And on the way to the Rann, lakes by the road, of back waters, with the most astounding birds … filming them tomorrow

Updates:

Bachchan reached Dhordo at 9.00 am and the shooting started as soon as he finished his make up in vanity van.

Scenes like Bachchan walking with a camel, he riding chhakdo rickshaw, flying kite, Kutchhi folk dances like Raas, Sword dance were captured in camera.

After completing the shoot, Bachchan drove his land rover car himself between the white rann and his tent at Dhordo tent city.

Bachchan’s fans tried their best to reach the place of shooting, but watching him or his shooting was not possible due to heavy security.
