Photo story: Watch this tallest Shiva linga made of Rudraksha

A 31-foot tall Shiva linga made from more than 2 million Rudraksha was on Sunday opened for public in Valsad district’s Kharvel village near Dharampur. Dharampur based Batukbhai Vyas has created this Shiva linga.

Speaking with DeshGujarat, Shri Vyas said, “the making of such Shiva linga took 13 long years. In first year we made only 11 inch Shiva linga using Rudraksha, second year we achieved 15 inch height, third year 18 inch, fourth year 24, fifth year 36, sixth year 5 ft, seventh year 7 ft, eighth year 11 ft, ninth year 15 ft with Limca book of records entry(2009). In tenth year we achieved 21 ft height while in eleventh and 12th year we achieved 25 ft height. Now it is 13th year and it is over 31 ft tall.”
