Dahod-Anand and Anand-Gandhinagar MEMU, Chhota Udepur-Pratapnagar DEMU announced

Union Railway Minister Shri Dinesh Trivedi today announced Railway budget 2012 – 13 in Lok Sabha.
The minister announced several new trains originating from or passing through the important railway stations of Gujarat.
According to the announcement made by the minister, a new daily Demu train connecting Pratapnagar and Chhota Udepur in central Gujarat is proposed. Tribal Chhota Udepur is the area once represented by former junior railway minister Naranbhai Rathwa.
Two new MEMU train proposed include Dahod – Anand and Anand – Gandhinagar.
It should be mentioned here that Junior railway minister Bharatsinh Solanki is member of parliament representing Anand Lok Sabha constituency. This can be the reason, Anand has got two MEMU trains which serve mass.
