Apollo Knowledge Institute opened to make youths employable

In a bid to enable youths to become employable, Limda based Apollo Tyres Limited in a public-private partnership initiative with Gujarat government’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) has set up Gujarat’s first Apollo Knowledge Institute.
The institute will train youths through modular training and skill development programmes in line with the needs of industry.
The training programme on industrial automation, pneumatics and electro pneumatics, hydraulics and electro hydraulics, automation tools, basic skills to operate on the shop floor, manufacturing system excellence, training on alternate energy will be imparted through the institute for which Apollo Tyres has partnered with Automation Industry Association and Q Ultima Consultants.
