Ahmedabad to Bhuj in 6 hours in Mercedes Benz for Rs 500

From 1st May 2012, you will have an option to travel between Ahmedabad and Kutch in Mercedes Benz at a ticket cost of Rs 500.
Shri Hari in private limited, a Bhuj based company that runs Shree Swaminarayan Travels has made an announcement to start daily Bhuj-Ahmedabad-Bhuj passenger carriage service using new Mercedes Benz bus from 1st of May.
According to Khimji Patel, a 49-seater Mercedes bus will have facilities like wi-fi, heater, LED and plug on each seat. The bus belongs to semi-sleeper class, in which each seat bends upto 145 degree.
A dust-free and jerk-free bus will depart Ahmedabad’s Paldi bus-stand everyday late in the evening. It will take only six hours to complete Ahmedabad-Bhuj journey.
It will leave Bhuj in afternoon and will reached Ahmedabad’s Vishala circle, from where the passengers will be taken to Paldi in smaller bus. While traveling between Ahmedabad and Bhuj, the bus will stop at Anjar, Adipur and Gandhidham before reaching Bhuj.
Six drivers are trained at Mercedes-Benz facility in Pune to drive the bus. By the month of June this year, one more bus will be operated. This bus will leave Bhuj late in the evening and connect Bhuj with Ahmedabad airport too.
